Design Process and Solution
Extensive research into the music equipment transport industry helped guide the development of a unique brand identity that would differentiate In Your Case while maintaining a visual connection to its parent company. The design features a custom IYC monogram in a rectangular format, reflecting the shape of the transport cases. A downward-pointing triangle within the “I” subtly represents the concept of “in” or “inside.” The full brand name is set in a clean, modern sans-serif typeface, and all elements are carefully proportioned to ensure the logo performs well at any size. The color palette, drawn from Showtime Sound’s existing branding, incorporates black and teal blue for cohesion.

Deliverables and Implementation
The final deliverables included the custom logo in multiple formats—horizontal, vertical, and one-color variations—business cards for the team, and an identity guide detailing proper logo usage, color specifications, and typography usage. The new branding has already been implemented by the client on metal tags with serial numbers, which are riveted onto their custom cases to enhance identification and brand recognition.
