    • If there is a program/subscription, how do you recruit participants? Are there requirements?
    • Do you have an exclusive membership, loyalty program, referral program or other programs you try to promote?
  • What problem does your product/service solve? What are the unique benefits?
  • What are the values of your company you promote internally and externally?
  • Who is your target audience? (Demographics, interests, lifestyle, behaviors?)
    • If you sell to other businesses/groups, who are examples of leads you have?
  • How do customers find out about your company and offerings / what is your current marketing strategy? 
  • What are examples of your competition?
  • Do you have a budget?
  • Will you share “Admin” access to your Facebook page, access to the website’s backend, and Instagram login details?

Content Discovery

  • Who is the point of contact to receive answers to questions, updates, pictures, testimonies, feedback, and other info from?
  • Do you have a Drive or Dropbox folder with all of the pictures/videos stored? Who is responsible for capturing pictures and video?
  • Are there currently blogs or emails executed that could also be published through social media?
  • Are there seasonal promotions, offers, or certain product lines that should be promoted through social? 
    • If so, who is the point of contact to receive updated product info/promotion info from?
  • If nonprofit, how do you collect donations? What is the impact of a donation? How/what are the donations used for? Do you have a tier-level sponsorship program? Do you partner with other nonprofits to host fundraising events? 
  • Do you currently have written testimonies? If so, how do you get them? If not, how can we set up a testimony-gathering process set-up? Who are the users we should go after and how should we do that?
  • Are there other organizations you do or can do work with? Do you volunteer or give back? Sponsors, grants, volunteers to highlight?
  • Are there internal company events or gatherings that could be recorded?
  • Is there client work that could be used to highlight as a case study?
  • Provide a list of keywords, phrases, and slogans that you would use to describe the business and product/service offerings. (Product/service-related, need-based phrases, branded keywords, company slogans)

Paid (Boosting Strategy) Discovery

  • Have you ever boosted posts? Do you have an Ads account set up?
  • Geographically, how far out would you like to promote your ads / do business in?
    • If you are a brick-and-mortar business, please provide a mile-radius from your business’s address or provide the city/county limits, states, or countries you would like to promote to and do business in – consider how far you would be willing to travel, if necessary. 
  • Who is your target audience? (Demographics, interests, lifestyle, behaviors?)
  • If you sell to other businesses/groups, who are examples of leads you have?
